Branding & white-label

Make it yours.

Cinch is multi-tenant from the foundation. Every tenant gets its own subdomain, brand palette, logo, email templates, and app icon. Members never see the Cinch logo.

You own this knob
Cinch’s entire white-label surface — domain, colors, logos, app icon, email templates, footer copy — is per-tenant. Two customers on Cinch can look entirely different. Members never know they share a platform.

Subdomain

Every tenant gets a subdomain on your own root domain — most commonly members.yourgym.com or app.yourgym.com.

  1. 1
    Pick the subdomain you want
Common patterns: members, app, my, book.
  2. 2
Add a CNAME record at your DNS provider
Point it at cname.usecinch.com. We’ll give you the exact value in the kickoff call.
  3. 3
Wait 5–30 minutes for DNS to propagate
We auto-issue an SSL certificate via Let’s Encrypt as soon as the CNAME resolves.
  4. 4
You're live on your own domain
Members sign in at your subdomain. Cinch never appears in the URL bar.
Apex domains too
If you want yourgym.com itself (not a subdomain) to point at your Cinch tenant, we can do that — needs A/AAAA records instead of CNAME. Slightly more setup.

Colors

Configure your brand palette at /admin/branding. Four colors define the entire member-app look:

  • Primary — your main brand color. Buttons, links, active states.
  • Background — the page background. Usually white or near-white; some tenants run dark mode.
  • Text — the foreground ink color.
  • Accent — used sparingly for callouts, badges, the chat avatar background.

We’ll preview your member app live on the right side of the form as you adjust colors.

Logo & app icon

Two assets we need:

  • Wordmark logo— used in the top-left of the member app + on your domain’s sign-in screen + in transactional emails. SVG preferred; PNG works too.
  • App icon— used when members “Add to Home Screen.” 1024×1024 PNG; we’ll downscale for every device size.
Don't have a real logo yet?
We’ll generate a clean wordmark + monogram set from your club’s name and brand colors. Not as good as a real designer, but cheap and fast — and replaceable later. Just ask.

Transactional email templates

Every email Cinch sends on your behalf (booking confirmations, receipts, waitlist promotions, card-update reminders, etc.) is themed with your colors and logo. The default copy is sensible; you can override any individual template at /admin/branding/emails.

Common overrides:

  • Welcome email — add your founder’s signature line
  • Booking confirmation — add your no-show policy
  • Card-update reminder — add a personal note

Members never see Cinch

By design. Your subdomain, your colors, your logo, your email templates. The footer of the member app says “Powered by Cinch” in 8pt muted text — that’s the only place our name appears. Enterprise tenants can remove even that.

The pitch in one sentence
Your members think they’re using software your club built. That’s the goal.
