CourtReserve runs the courts.
Cinch runs the club.
CourtReserve and PlayByPoint are solid court bookers. But a modern facility is more than courts — and members now expect to just ask. Cinch puts courts, golf, the gym, dining, and dues on one member record, adds an AI concierge neither incumbent has shipped, and prices flat instead of per court.
The live club is Utah Pickleball Center — a real facility running Cinch today.
Where CourtReserve and PlayByPoint are good
These aren’t bad products. If all you run is courts, either one works. Knowing exactly what they do well is how you win the rest.
Well-established, genuinely easy to learn, and known for strong, fast support. Deep court-scheduling controls and a big installed base in tennis + pickleball.
Clean, modern, pickleball-native. Skill-level booking rules, branded apps, integrated POS, and real DUPR + PlaySight video integrations.

Cinch is about one-fifth the cost of Club Automation.
Bigger multi-amenity clubs get pushed toward Club Automation(owned by Daxko). It’s broad and mature — but heavy, slow to implement, sold through add-on modules, and its effective all-in runs ~$1,000–1,200+/mo per location once you add the pieces. It has no member-facing AI, and Daxko is consolidating away from white-label into one shared vendor-branded app.
Cinch is $249/mo flat, every feature included — roughly a fifth of Club Automation’s all-in — with the AI concierge, white-label per club, and Stripe-Connect payouts they don’t offer. Same multi-amenity breadth, a fraction of the cost and the implementation.
Four reasons it isn’t close
A member asks the concierge to move a Saturday court, add two guests, or find an open time tonight — and it happens in chat, preview-then-confirm. CourtReserve and PlayByPoint make members tap through a grid. This is the headline.
Courts, golf, the gym, dining, events, and dues on a single membership — under the club's own brand. The incumbents are courts-only; a facility that's more than courts ends up stitching two or three systems together.
CourtReserve and PlayByPoint both scale with courts and pros. Cinch is flat — add courts, add a location, add a pro, same price. For a network that's real money.
Stripe Connect means payouts land in the club's own account, at direct rates — no processor lock-in or markup skimmed off every booking.
It’s already running a real club.
Utah Pickleball Center runs on Cinch today — court booking, memberships, payments, and the AI concierge. Open it, book a court, ask the concierge to move it. That’s the pitch.
