Why do simulator bays suit an unmanned model so well?

Simulator demand is heaviest at exactly the hours staffing is hardest to justify — early mornings, late nights, and winter weekday evenings. Unstaffed access converts those hours from closed to bookable, and the marginal cost of a 10pm booking in an already-heated building is close to zero.

Most cloud access controllers (infinias / 3xLOGIC, and others in that class) publish an API for doors, people, and PIN credentials, which is all a per-session code needs.
