Club Automation alternativeThe incumbent that won't tell you the price.
Club Automation is the default system at racquet and multi-amenity clubs and publishes no pricing whatsoever — every number comes from an enterprise sales process. Cinch covers the same ground (courts, gym, studio, pool, programming, F&B, member app) at a published $249/month flat with no contract.
The difference in one line. Club Automation is enterprise software sold the enterprise way. Cinch is the same functional surface with the price on the website.
What each one charges.
| Line item | Cost |
|---|---|
| Any tier Club Automation does not publish pricing. Quotes come through an enterprise sales process and are typically annual. | Not published |
| Implementation Enterprise club software commonly carries a separate implementation cost. Ask for it in writing and ask whether it recurs. | Not published |
| Cinch Every amenity, every feature, no implementation fee, no contract. | $249/mo flatpublished |
We're not going to invent a number for a vendor that doesn't publish one, and you shouldn't accept one from anybody who does. If you're evaluating them, the questions that matter are: what's the annual total, what's the implementation cost, what's the renewal escalator, and what happens to your data if you leave.
Competitor figures verified 2026-08-03. Published means the vendor states it publicly; reportedmeans it comes from third-party pricing aggregators and operator reports. Always compare against your own most recent invoice — that’s the only number that is definitely true about your business.
Why operators go looking.
- Opaque pricing and annual commitments
You cannot budget or compare without entering a sales process, and the output is usually a year-long commitment.
- A member experience from a different era
Multi-amenity clubs consistently report that the member-facing side is the weakest part — which is the part members actually judge you on.
- Amenities that don't talk to each other
A member booking a court, a class, and a lane should be one person with one history. In practice these often behave like separate systems wearing one login.
Where Club Automation beats us.
Every comparison page on the internet pretends this section doesn’t exist. Here’s ours — if one of these is load-bearing for your business, stay where you are, and we’d rather you learn that here than on a demo call.
Large clubs with complex membership categories, billing rules, and governance structures are exactly what Club Automation was built for. If you're a 4,000-member club with a board and a bylaws-driven dues structure, they have solved problems we have not yet encountered.
They will put people on your rollout. Cinch's migration is white-glove but it's a small team, and for a club of that size that difference is worth weighing.
Your GM has probably used it. That has real value in a staff transition.
How the migration goes.
White-glove and included on every plan. Most migrations are one to three days of actual work.
- 1
Export your data
Members, memberships, schedule, instructor profiles, and billing history — a CSV from your current vendor is enough. Every platform on this list can produce one; if yours makes it difficult, that difficulty is itself worth noting.
- 2
We import and reconcile it
White-glove, included, no charge. We load it, then hand you a reconciliation list of anything ambiguous rather than guessing on your behalf.
- 3
Connect your own Stripe account
About ten minutes. Payouts go to your bank — Cinch never holds your money, and you keep the account if you ever leave us.
- 4
Run both in parallel
Keep the old system live while you check the new one against it. Nobody should cut over on faith.
- 5
Cut over and cancel
Members install your branded app, and you cancel the old subscription. Most migrations take one to three days of actual work.
